PEOPLE'S HISTORY MUSEUM REOPENS
The People's History museum in Manchester has reopened following refurbishment.
The museum documents the history of working people in Britain.
Amongst its exhibits are the largest collection of Trade Union banners in the world including the world’s oldest trade union banner, that of the Liverpool Tinplate Workers of 1821.
Other exhibits include, photographs, badges and posters documenting Labour History.
Also housed in the museum is an Archive and Study Centre.
Admission is by appointment only. See website for further details.
The museum is open 7 days a week and admission is free.
